PARKING PERMIT PAYMENTS
Payments can be made in-person, mailed in or can also be dropped off
 in the Drop Box at Town Hall located on the Oval side of the building

 Meter Rates and Time Limits 

  • Parking Meters:
    • Cash Payments: 50 cents per hour. Meters accept all coin types
    • Credit Card Payments:50 cents per hour.  Min. 1 hour parking.
      • Visa, Discover and Mastercard accepted.  A 50 cent convenience fee is added to all credit card transactions.
      • My Parking Receipt is a convenient website that allows customers to view, download, and print their parking receipts for parking sessions paid by credit card at any IPS meter.
  • Pay Stations:
    • Cash Payments: 50 cents per hour. Meters accept all coin types 
    • Credit Card Payments: 50 cents per hour.  Min. 1/2 hour parking.
      • Visa, Discover and Mastercard accepted.  A 50 cent convenience fee is added to all credit card transactions.
      • My Parking Receipt is a convenient website that allows customers to view, download, and print their parking receipts for parking sessions paid by credit card at any IPS meter.
  • Time limits and hours of enforcement for parking meters are posted on signs in every metered area, as well as on each parking meter.

Municipal Parking Lot Permits

Permits may be applied for at the office of the Department of Public Works located on the 2nd Floor of Town Hall. All permits must be displayed visibly in the front windshield.

   Application and Payment must be returned to the Department of Public Works via mail or drop box.

  • Permits may be paid for: Monthly, Quarterly or Annually
  • Payment is due every month. Non-payment will result in loss of parking privileges.

Malfunctioning Parking Meters

Please stay with meter and immediately report malfunctioning meters to the Department of Public Works at 973-284-4984. When calling, please indicate the meter ID number (e.g., F-149) located on the parking meter screen.
