MUNICIPAL CLERK’S OFFICE - F/T STAFF POSITION 
 The Township of Nutley needs to replace a full-time staff position in our Municipal Clerk’s Office.  We are seeking an individual who is highly organized, detailed oriented, writes well and is comfortable interacting with residents and others either in person, by telephone or email. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Municipal Clerk. Job responsibilities shall include projects and tasks consistent with this office such as raffles and licensing, election support, OPRA, recordkeeping and other activities as directed by the Clerk.

The preferred candidate, in addition to the above, must possess excellent computer skills and be comfortable learning to use our in-house software tools.  An intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is required. While Municipal Clerk’s Office experience is preferred, we encourage other candidates with relevant experience to apply. Full Salary and Benefits are available. TREASURY DEPARTMENT - F/T PAYROLL ACCOUNTANT
 
The Township of Nutley is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual for a Full Time Payroll Accountant position in our Treasurer’s Office. Duties will include payroll processing, new hire onboarding, other payroll related functions and analysis, quarterly and annual tax filings, and pension enrollment and reporting.  

Accounting knowledge and experience is preferred. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required.  Individuals should also possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills. Attention to detail, follow through, accuracy, and confidentiality are essential to this position.  Knowledge of Edmunds financial software preferred.  Full Salary and Benefits are available.
