Mayor Tucci Announces Second Concert In The Park Scheduled For July 22 – Featuring “Jersey Sound”

Mayor Mauro G. Tucci and the Department of Parks and Recreation are excited to announce a family event for music lovers everywhere to enjoy!   “Jersey Sound” will take the stage on July 22, 2021 for the Recreation Department’s Sizzling Summer Concert!  This concert will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be held at Memorial Park 1 (Mud Hole) located on the corner of Vreeland Ave and Passaic Ave.

Jersey Sound is one of the Tri State Area's premier oldies band, known for its versatility and talented members. Jersey Sound is putting its own spin on the music industry by giving people a combination of music genres creating delectable sounds the ear can only imagine. These incredibly talented musicians and singers come from different musical backgrounds to form one of New Jersey's most requested bands. They offer an eclectic blend of classic Oldies, Classic Rock, Motown, R&B, British Invasion and Pop. With the very best vocalists and a killer rhythm section holding it all together, The "Jersey Sound" experience is one you will never forget!

“Our Concerts provide free entertainment throughout the summer months, offering a variety of performers in a great outdoor atmosphere” stated Mayor Tucci.  In the spirit of summertime relaxation, these special summer performances emphasize family recreation in a tranquil outdoor setting. Whether you come to see old friends, enjoy great food or to listen to the sounds of great music you don’t want to miss this one of a kind event.
