Police Director Alphonse Petracco and Chief Thomas Strumolo are advising residents that in light of the Texas school shooting on Tuesday May 24 there will be an increased police presence in and around our schools until further notice.

Although there have been no threats to any of our schools our department takes the safety and security of our schools very seriously.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families in Texas.
