Mayor Joseph P. Scarpelli, D.C., would like to notify residents of an upcoming paving project by the Township of Nutley Department of Public Works that will occur in Nutley and that may impact Township residents. This notification is in an effort to inform residents of the upcoming work so that alternate routes can be planned if needed and to maintain a level of safety within the community.

Starting on Wednesday May 1, 2024, weather permitting, the contractor for the Township of Nutley, D&L Paving Contractors, Inc. will begin roadway milling operations on Vreeland Avenue. The work will occur between the below-listed sections of Vreeland Avenue.

Please expect detours and roadway closures in and around the area of Vreeland Avenue between Franklin Avenue and Bloomfield Avenue including all connecting intersections.
