Summer Peanut Soccer Clinic Registration

Commissioner Mauro G. Tucci announces the Nutley Department of Parks and Recreation will be offering the Peanut Soccer Program again this Summer.  This program is open to Nutley toddlers ages three through six and is directed by a professional coaching staff.

Introduce your child to the wonderful world of sports.  “Some benefits include helping build confidence, improving social and listening skills and promoting fitness from a young age” stated Commissioner Mauro G. Tucci.

Peanut Soccer is an enjoyable non-competitive program designed to help the youngest of soccer players begin to develop basic soccer skills by participating in fun-filled, soccer-oriented children’s games and basic physical education.   Classes will be held on Tuesdays.

  • 4:30pm - 5:30pm
  • 5:45pm - 6:45pm
  • 7:00pm - 8:00pm

Please see printable flyer for detailed information.

The program will be held on the mini turf at Msgr. Owens Park and will run for four weeks.  This fun, innovative curriculum is an exciting introduction to the sport of soccer for children ages 3 through 6. With the extensive teaching and coaching backgrounds they understand how children learn and how soccer can be taught effectively.

Please note there is limited space available for this program.  Online registration is available at https://register.communitypass.net/nutley.  For more information on this or any recreation program, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at (973) 284-4966, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
