FUN FOR ALL Special Needs Recreation Program Now Accepting Registrations

Commissioner Mauro G. Tucci and The Nutley Department of Parks and Recreation is offering a variety of weekly sporting programs for students with special needs

FUN FOR ALL is an adaptive recreation program offering a variety of seasonal sports and social activities on a weekly basis throughout the school year. Participation in the program will introduce your child to the tremendous benefits of sports where the focus is more on learning the basics, enjoying fitness, developing friendships and having FUN! “As inclusion advocates, we don’t want to see any child held back or excluded from opportunities that can help them reach their full potential” stated

Commissioner Mauro Tucci. Good sportsmanship and accepting individual differences and abilities is fostered throughout the sessions. High levels of reinforcement and recognition are provided to each player for their level of participation. Modifications are made as needed to enable all participants to play and enjoy the experience.

For additional information, please see printable flyer. If you have any questions concerning this or any recreation program, please contact the Recreation Department at 973-284-4966. Monday-Friday 8am - 4pm
