The Township of Nutley Municipal Clerk’s office would like to remind residents that Election Day is quickly approaching on November 5th. If you are a vote-by-mail recipient, Nutley’s secure ballot Drop Box is conveniently located on the right side of the Town Hall at 1 Kennedy Drive. This Drop Box is available 24/7 with ballots collected daily. Make sure your ballot includes signatures that meet the necessary criteria provided with your ballot.
Registered voters who wish to vote-by-mail can request a ballot from Essex County. Your request must be received by the County no later than Tuesday, October 29th by 3:00pm. For instructions, please visit vote.nj.gov.
The Township Drop Box offers the fastest and most secure method for returning your vote-by-mail ballot. If you choose to use the regular mail service, be sure that your ballot is postmarked no later than 8:00pm on Election Day.
Early voting in New Jersey is set for October 26th through November 3rd. It’s important to note that you can visit any one of the locations listed below if you are a resident of Essex County. These locations will be open Monday - Saturday, 10:00am - 8:00pm and Sunday, 10:00am - 6:00pm. No appointment necessary.
