Nutley Department of Parks and Recreation is proud to announce a collaboration with the New York Giants and the Nutley High School flag football team to host a girls’ flag football clinic for Nutley residents in 1st through 8th grade. This fun event aims to give the girls a chance to experience the excitement and fundamentals of flag football with an hour of instruction from Nutley High School flag football athletes and their head coach, while providing the unique chance to practice in the indoor fieldhouse of the New York Giants. This clinic will also serve as a kickoff and registration event for Nutley Recreation’s new girls’ flag football league for 1st through 8th grade residents.
The clinic is set to take place on March 3, 2025 at Quest Diagnostics Training Center in East Rutherford and will include a series of drills, skill-building exercises, and mentorship.
“We are thrilled to partner with the New York Giants to offer this incredible opportunity to young female athletes. This clinic is not just about developing athletic skills but also about promoting confidence and self-esteem. We hope to inspire the next generation of female athletes to pursue their dreams, no matter the sport,” stated Commissioner Tucci.
