Police Director Alphonse Petracco, and Chief Thomas Strumolo are advising residents that the Nutley Police are investigating a potential lewd incident that occurred 8:30 AM Monday.

Police were called to the area of Quarry and Ellen St. in response to a resident that told police she observed a man sitting on a bench with his pants down. The man was described as a large dark skin male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and light colored sweatpants.

Police have increased patrols in the area and ask anyone that may have information contact police at 973-284-4940.
