The Nutley Board of Commissioners (BOC) announce their collective effort to promote local businesses in Nutley during the COVID-19 outbreak. The Commissioners are encouraging all residents to shop locally during the months of March and April.

Two specific initiatives will be “Take Out Fridays” and “Small Business Saturdays”. Of course, the Commissioners urge everyone to support our local merchants every day, but are asking residents to make a special effort to support our restaurants, pizzerias, and delis on Fridays and our other small businesses on Saturdays during this difficult time.

Many of our small businesses will face an uphill financial challenge during this crisis. Consider purchasing a gift card even if you don’t presently have a need for a particular item. Shopping locally will give our businesses the necessary support as we face these unprecedented times.
