Nutley Coronavirus Update & 1:00pm Announcement from Governor Murphy
As of this morning, Saturday, March 21, 2020, there are 8 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Nutley. We anticipate that this number will increase in the days and weeks ahead and we continue to urge residents to practice social distancing.
The Township has been receiving phone calls and emails from residents regarding rumors about martial law. These rumors are completely untrue. Please disregard rumors and continue to seek information from official and trusted sources.
The National Guard has been mobilized, however they are serving a support role. The National Guard soldiers are being deployed at testing centers to assist, as needed.
The Township of Nutley will continue to share updates with you as we receive information from our county and state partners.
