Nutley Update on COVID-19
The Township of Nutley is providing an update to the community on several important matters, including:
- Total COVID-19 cases in Nutley
- Indoor Dining Resumption On Hold
- Updated Quarantine Advisory
- Other updates
COVID-19 Total Cases
The Township of Nutley announced 7 additional known COVID-19 cases bringing the total to 518 cases and 36 deaths.
Indoor Dining Resumption on Hold
Governor Murphy stated earlier this week that due to the spike in coronavirus cases seen in other states, the planned resumption of indoor dining on July 2nd will not occur as previously announced.
Updated Quarantine Advisory Issued for Individuals Traveling to New Jersey
On Tuesday, Governor Murphy advised individuals traveling to New Jersey from eight additional states with significant community spread of COVID-19 to quarantine for a 14-day period from the time of last contact within the identified state. The travel advisory applies to any person arriving from a state with a positive test rate higher than 10 per 100,000 residents or a state with a 10% or higher positivity rate over a 7-day rolling average.
As of Tuesday, June 30, there are currently 16 states total that meet the criteria stated above: Alabama; Arkansas; Arizona; California; Florida; Georgia; Iowa; Idaho; Louisiana; Mississippi; North Carolina; Nevada; South Carolina; Tennessee; Texas; and Utah.
